Foam

What is the R-value?

In construction, R-value is the measurement of a product’s capacity to resist heat flow. In simple terms, they calculate the effectiveness of insulation materials. If the product has a high R-value result, then it is able to maintain a great amount of heat retention. If the result is low, then the product’s capability is the opposite.

At its core, this measurement helps homeowners and contractors to assess the performance of insulation materials without needing to understand the complex details.
