CE01 Principles of Estimating: resource costing, tender planning, cash‑flow forecasting

CE02 Law: contract law, health and safety, environmental and employment regulation

CE03 Measurements: quantity surveying techniques, highway works measurement, new rules of measurement

CE04 Management: quality processes, production planning, workforce motivation, plant and equipment oversight

Enrolment standards

The college welcomes applicants who are already working in commercial management or have any relevant work history. Furthermore, the student will be encouraged to join the CICES as a Student Member. For further clarity, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Reliable internet connection and a device capable of streaming live lectures

This Certificate is recognised by Chartered ICES.

This is a self-study course where you will study the lessons via the study guide alongside a textbook. You will have up to 3 years to complete your course from the date you enrolled.

There are 4 modules and you will need to complete all the tutorials within all four modules and then there is one final assessment at the end of the course to complete. Your tutorials account for 60% of the marks and the Final Assignment 40%.
