What are the causes of bullying?

Verbal

Unlike physical abuse, verbal bullying involves using hurtful words to tear someone down. These are used to humiliate or exclude others. Furthermore, this type of abuse poses a significant risk to anyone’s mental health. Examples include spreading rumours, name-calling, or teasing. Furthermore, verbal abuse causes a loss of self-confidence and low self-esteem.
